Job description

As a Senior Manager, you will operate at the intersection of technology leadership, architecture, and client engagement, taking ownership of end-to-end cloud transformation initiatives., * Define cloud strategy, governance frameworks, and AWS architecture standards

  • Translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable cloud solutions
  • Lead large-scale transformation programmes (e.g. data centre exit, legacy modernisation)
  • Drive innovation across data, AI, security, and multi-cloud environments
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders and executive-level audiences
  • Mentor and develop consultants and managers, building internal capability
  • Act as a cloud evangelist, promoting best practices and business value

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering cloud-native and migration solutions on AWS
  • Helping clients move from strategy through to implementation and optimisation
  • Working with modern architectures including:
  • Serverless
  • Microservices
  • Containerised workloads
  • Supporting continuous improvement through DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices

Requirements

Essential Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS-based solutions
  • Strong background in enterprise architecture and cloud transformation
  • Experience aligning technical solutions with business strategy

Certifications & Education

  • AWS Certification (Associate or Professional - e.g. Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

Technical Expertise

Architecture & Design

  • Translating business needs into scalable cloud architectures
  • Cost optimisation and cloud best practices

Data & AI

  • Experience with data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML solutions
  • Understanding of data lifecycle management

Application Architecture

  • Modern cloud patterns (serverless, containers, microservices)
  • CI/CD and DevOps methodologies

Security

  • Identity & access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks
  • Implementing secure-by-design cloud environments

Integration

  • API design and event-driven architectures
  • Hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity

Non-Functional Design

  • High availability, resilience, and scalability
  • Disaster recovery and observability

Governance & Compliance

  • Cloud governance frameworks and cost control
  • Auditing and compliance enforcement

Desirable Skills

  • AWS Specialty certifications (e.g. Security, Machine Learning, Advanced Networking)
  • Exposure to other cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud)
