Job description

The HR Systems and People Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the strategic design, utilization, and adoption of Lexicon's HR data and technology ecosystem to improve employee and leader experiences and drive organizational performance. This role serves as the primary HR super-user and business owner of the HCM and related people systems, ensuring they are designed, understood, and used in ways that support operational excellence and data-driven decision making. The role works in close partnership with the Lexicon Analytics department, serving as the HR extension to that team by providing informed functional guidance on system design, reporting needs, and workforce insights. This position blends HR expertise, systems fluency, analytics capability, and strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and data concepts into meaningful insights for audiences ranging from frontline trades employees to executive leadership. While this role does not perform technical implementations or integrations, it plays a critical role in shaping system design recommendations, module utilization, and adoption across the organization., HR Systems Ownership & Enablement

  • Serve as the HR business owner and super-user of the organization's HRIS/HCM and people technology ecosystem.
  • Serve as the primary HR voice and subject-matter expert, partnering with Lexicon Analytics, implementation partners, and vendors to provide informed recommendations on system design, module utilization, and reporting needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between HR users and technical teams, translating HR workflows, employee experience needs, and stakeholder input into clear system requirements.
  • Define and promote best practices for how HR system functionality is used across employee groups, HR disciplines, and leadership roles to ensure consistency, usability, and value.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, and guidance to support effective and consistent system use.

User Adoption, Training & Change Management

  • Lead adoption efforts for HR technologies by designing user-friendly training, job aids, and resources that support employees, people leaders, and HR partners.
  • Communicate HR system capabilities and changes in a clear, practical manner that makes technical concepts usable for diverse audiences-from trades professionals to executive leaders.
  • Serve as a trusted resource to coach users and support effective system use within their respective roles.

People Analytics & Insights

  • Drive operational performance and employee experience through data-driven insights across HR and the broader organization.
  • Serve as the primary HR liaison to the Lexicon Analytics team for workforce analytics, ensuring HR insights align with enterprise data models, methodologies, and reporting practices.
  • Collaborate with Analytics to define meaningful HR metrics, dashboards, and insights that support organizational performance and decision-making.
  • Design and oversee the collection of employee insights using engagement surveys, pulse surveys, listening strategies, and qualitative feedback.
  • Analyze workforce data including hiring trends, turnover, internal movement, and related metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to interpret findings, identify root causes, and recommend actions that improve outcomes.

Strategic Partnership & Leadership

  • Collaborate with HR leadership to align HR systems strategy and workforce insights with broader people and business priorities.
  • Leverage partnership with Lexicon Analytics to continuously improve how HR data and insights are used to inform strategy, workforce planning, and performance improvement.
  • Influence decision-making by presenting insights in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner to senior leaders.
  • Evaluate emerging HR technology and analytics capabilities to enhance system effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Contribute to the evolution of this role and function with the potential to assume broader enterprise leadership responsibilities over time., * HR systems are thoughtfully designed, well-adopted, and consistently used across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in Human Resources, with demonstrated experience supporting core HR processes.
  • Hands-on experience working with HR systems (HCM/HRIS), with a strong understanding of how modules are used to support HR operations and employee lifecycle events.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to translate technical and data-heavy information into practical, understandable guidance for varied audiences.

Preferred:

  • Experience serving as a system owner, superuser, or functional lead for HR technology implementations or enhancements.
  • Experience partnering with enterprise analytics or business intelligence teams to design and interpret workforce data.
  • Experience in survey design, employee listening strategies, or workforce analytics.
  • Background working in complex, multi-division, or blue-collar environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead change through collaboration., You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. Note: The company does not provide employment visa sponsorship. Physical Demands Must be able to work in a high-pressure working environment with multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Some overtime, weekend work, and overnight travel is required. While the primary work location is in an office environment, must have a willingness and ability to meet with employees and leaders where they work, which includes production facilities and construction sites. Must be able to sit for long periods of time working directly on a computer. Must be ethical, energetic, and have a passion for serving as an employee and business advocate, where the needs of each is met or exceeded.
