Job description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to contribute to the successful delivery of IT initiatives, with a primary focus on enhancing and expanding a third-party vendor portal for one of our clients located in Plano, TX. This role will work closely with the IT team in an agile development environment, delivering both backend and frontend solutions that are scalable, secure, and user-friendly. The position is evenly split between API development (50%) and UI development (50%), leveraging modern frameworks and tools to support business-critical integrations and workflows., Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using PHP and the Symfony framework Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React Collaborate with cross-functional IT team members in an agile/Scrum environment Enhance and optimize the third-party vendor portal for performance, scalability, and usability Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives Support application deployment and configuration using Ansible Track work and progress using Jira Manage source control and collaborate via GitLab Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the full stack

Requirements

Strong experience with PHP Proficiency in React Hands-on experience with the Symfony framework Working knowledge of Python Experience using Ansible for automation and configuration management Familiarity with GitLab (user-level experience) Experience working with Jira in an agile development environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Neo4j Strong understanding of MySQL Familiarity with Golang Experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures Knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines
