Job description
- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata.
- Define data models, integration strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture blueprints.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
- Deep expertise in Teradata architecture, utilities (TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad), and SQL
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in Teradata environments. Strong hands-on experience with Teradata SQL, Teradata utilities. Proficient with scripting language Python, PowerShell for automation. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts. Experience working with Azure cloud-based environment is a plus Experience with Data governance, data security, data quality, data lineage, data catalog and compliance practices Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Teradata certifications (e.g., Teradata Certified Professional, Teradata certified Master). Exposure of data lake architectures and integration with Teradata. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments
