Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Cyber Security Engineer to join a high impact project supporting a major Belgian government organisation in Brussels.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career engineer who wants real responsibility on a meaningful public sector project from day one. You'll gain valuable experience in a secure government environment while working on technology that directly supports national services and citizens.

• At least 1 year of hands on experience in a cyber security role
• Practical experience with a SIEM platform (Splunk is highly preferred, but we will consider experience with other platforms)
• Good understanding of Incident Response and case management
• Exposure to SOC automation tools
• Familiarity with CTI platforms such as MISP or OpenCTI
• Basic experience with an EDR/XDR solution
• Some scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar) to automate tasks

• 9 month contract with likely extensions
• On Site Working in Brussels
• ASAP start available
• €400 per day
• Work on strategic, high visibility government systems
