Job description
The consultant will join a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment and take ownership of a structured handover of existing workstreams. Within these workstreams, multiple GenAI solutions are already deployed across several markets. The assignment focuses on scaling a core GenAI solution to additional markets, collecting stakeholder feedback, and continuously improving AI systems based on that feedback. The consultant is expected to operate autonomously and contribute hands-on at a senior level. The consultant will be assigned to two main projects and is expected to work without travel requirements.
Scope of Services
The consultant will assist the organisation by:
- Scaling existing GenAI solutions across multiple markets
- Improving and optimising deployed AI systems
- Translating product requirements into technical execution
- Ensuring production-grade delivery of AI solutions
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Working autonomously across multiple product and data teams
- Managing and aligning stakeholder requirements
- Monitoring emerging GenAI models and benchmarking them against performance, latency, and cost metrics
- Applying best practices in GenAI development and MLOps
- Continuously documenting work and decisions
- Communicating progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
- Strong experience working in Agile environments
- Advanced Python skills, including object-oriented programming
- Proven experience with full-stack development and GenAI systems
- Hands-on experience deploying, scaling, and productionising AI solutions
- Solid knowledge of MLOps, including CI/CD for ML
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- API development experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, 1. Ability to write maintainable, production-grade Python code
- Experience with benchmarking, latency optimisation, and cost/performance trade-offs
- Strong communication skills combined with autonomous execution
