Job description
- Support process improvements for quality improvement initiatives.
- Automate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) into Power BI dashboards.
- Perform data analysis to identify anomalies and ensure data quality for system integrity processes.
- Create risk assessment visuals and presentations using PowerPoint.
- Support the implementation of corrective actions and change management items.
- Utilize analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and integrate data sets from various sources.
- Analyze and create historical trends and patterns for integrity management datasets.
- Review and ensure the quality of operational data, suggesting corrections and improvements.
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate data reports and documentation.
Requirements
Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to support the System Integrity department. This role involves analyzing integrity management data, identifying process enhancements, and automating KPIs into Power BI dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear visualizations., Experience: Two to three years of relevant data analysis experience is required.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to write SQL queries.
- Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Experience with Power BI, specifically native DAX scripting for data modeling and dashboard creation.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint for creating data visualizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scripting experience with Python or other programming languages.
- Experience in the utility or energy industry, particularly with gas utilities.
- Working knowledge of GIS systems and relational databases.
Benefits & conditions
The anticipated pay range for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience and qualifications.
