Job description
- Modeling, Simulation & Analysis for specific aspects of the system
- Support analysis for requirement decomposition and traceability
- Support MBSE strategy and implementation
- Coordinate with sub-contracted product teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance
- Contribute content for presentations to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years (or in continuous evaluation)
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- 1+ year experience with MBSE and the Engineering V
Systems Engineer (T-02):
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree
- Minimum 1 Year experience with Modeling, Simulation and Analysis
- Minimum 1 Year experience in System Analysis using MATLAB, Python, ANSYS, C++, STK and/or other analytical modeling tools
? Principal Systems Engineer (T-03):
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related experience; 3 years experience with a Master of Science degree; 1 year experience with a PhD
- 2+ Years experience with Modeling, Simulation and Analysis
- 2+ Years experience in System Analysis using MATLAB, Python, ANSYS, C++, STK and/or other analytical modeling tools
- 1+ year experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities
- 1+ year experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation, * Experience with Systems Engineering
- Experience with Department of Defense and/or Missile Systems
- Experience with Model Based System Engineering with DOORS or CAMEO and an understanding of DODAF and SysML
- Experience with Product Engineering Development and Life Cycles
- Understanding of Requirements Development and Decomposition
- Experience with Agile Development
- Experience with Atlassian Products such as JIRA, Confluence

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $163,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
