Security Architect

• Assist in planning, designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise security platforms including SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management, DLP, and security awareness tools.
• Support development and maturity of the enterprise vulnerability management program, including scanning, reporting, remediation tracking, and metrics.
• Build, configure, and maintain Linux-based security sensors and endpoint monitoring tools.
• Integrate and automate security and IT tools using scripting and orchestration technologies.
• Collaborate with security teams to design and implement solutions aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and risk tolerance.
• Design and manage security countermeasures to address known and emerging threats.
• Ensure consistent application and effectiveness of security controls across infrastructure and applications.
• Support incident detection and response through monitoring, log analysis, and reporting.
• Develop technical documentation, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Perform additional duties to support enterprise information security initiatives.

• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and engineering principles.
• Experience with SIEM, XDR, vulnerability management, DLP, and endpoint security tools.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows systems, including system hardening and security configuration.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and secure system design.
• Experience developing automation and integrations using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Experience supporting large IT environments and system deployments.

Education And Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise security tools.
• Minimum 5+ years of scripting and automation experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting large IT environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CISSP certification.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
