ICT Senior Network and Security Engineer

For one of our major clients in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to support and secure a complex, business-critical network environment. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and operating advanced network security solutions, while driving automation initiatives and supporting internal teams. Design and deploy network security architectures and protection strategies Monitor network performance and security, manage incidents, and perform security audits and vulnerability assessments Provide advanced technical support and act as an escalation point for network security issues Participate in an on-call rotation, including night operations , with the ability to intervene on-site when required Coach and support the internal network team Create and maintain technical documentation and security processes (including NIS2) 3 days per week on-site in Brussels , 2 days remote On-call duties , including night shifts and night on-site operations

are a mandatory part of the role 5+ years of experience in network security engineering ~ Proven hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall technologies ~ Solid experience with cloud security and secure access concepts (ZTNA) ~ Languages English: French: C1 Dutch: B2 Security certifications (e.g. Security+) are considered an asset.
