Job description
We are looking for an IT Systems Specialist with solid hands-on experience across infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments. As a core member of the IT team, you will be responsible for the stability, security, and performance of our systems and network infrastructure, supporting both day-to-day operations and the company's continued growth., Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments (Debian/Ubuntu). Manage GPOs, system updates, patching, and performance monitoring. Cloud & Virtualisation Administer Azure infrastructure, including VMs, resource groups, storage, Entra ID, and Intune. Manage on-premise virtualisation platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware., Configure and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing. Ensure network availability, reliability, and performance. Firewall & Security Manage firewall rules, VPN configurations, and network segmentation. Apply security policies, monitor threats, and respond to incidents., Administer iSCSI storage infrastructure, manage SAN/NAS environments, and ensure backup integrity and recovery procedures. Identity & Access Management Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, GPOs, and user provisioning processes. Monitoring & Incident Response Monitor infrastructure health, respond to alerts, lead incident resolution, and manage vulnerability remediation and patching activities. Documentation Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, asset inventories, and operational procedures. Your Profile
Requirements
- CFC, Bachelor's degree in IT, or equivalent qualification
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Relevant certifications are a plus, including:
- Microsoft AZ-104
- Fortinet Certified Professional
- Linux LPIC-1
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux administration
- Hands-on experience with Azure environments, including VMs, Entra ID, Intune, and networking
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with firewall administration and VPN technologies, ideally Fortinet
- Familiarity with iSCSI, SAN/NAS storage management, and backup solutions
- Experience with Hyper-V or VMware virtualisation platforms
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and identity management
- Good understanding of application environments, including web servers and databases
