Job description

AS IS Assessment:

Perform a comprehensive analysis of the existing PostgreSQL database environment
Document schemas, tables, relationships, constraints, triggers, and stored procedures
Identify data producers, ETL processes, and upstream source systems

Target Architecture Definition (TO BE) and migration strategy

Define migration roadmap and phases, rollback plan, timeline, ...

Requirements

7 years' experience; strong architecture + hands-on backend development

Java (Spring) - strong backend focus (no frontend-only profiles)

Advanced SQL skills (CTE, query tuning, indexing, execution plans)

Experience with database migration and system modernization

Solid understanding of application & data architecture

Exposure to infrastructure, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), and AWS is a plus

Experience in regulated environments preferred
