Solution Architect Location: Manchester - Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite Start Day: ASAP Contract Rate: £515 per day inside IR35 Duration: 6 to 12 months initially Role Overview Our client is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design of robust, scalable, and secure end-to-end technology solutions. This role supports complex transformation programmes, bridging business requirements and technical delivery while providing architectural leadership across modern and legacy platforms. Key Responsibilities * Design end-to-end solutions across applications, data, integration, security, and infrastructure * Produce high-level and detailed architecture designs, diagrams, and interface specifications * Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security, and scalability requirements * Evaluate technology options and define optimal architectural approaches * Collaborate with senior stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams * Provide architectural assurance, risk

assessment, and delivery guidance Skills & Experience * 6+ years' experience in Solution Architecture * Strong knowledge of legacy technologies (including mainframes) and cloud architectures * Experience modernising legacy systems into containerised microservices * Expertise in Domain-Driven Design, data mesh, and event-driven architecture * Hands-on experience with .NET, Java, Angular, React, REST APIs, CI/CD, and DevOps practices * Strong understanding of application, API, and microservices security * Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills * Agile delivery experience * Pension/Annuity domain knowledge (UK Workplace Pensions preferred) If you have the relevant skills and experience, please do apply promptly to be considered
