AWS Cloud Platform Engineer

• Manage and support hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments.
• Optimise systems for performance, scalability, security, and cost.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps practices and automation.
• Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Maintain clear documentation and continuously improve processes.

• Proven experience in AWS infrastructure design, deployment, and system administration.
• Broad understanding of Microsoft hybrid cloud infrastructures with a good working knowledge of on-premise infrastructure.
• Networking (switching, load balancing, and firewalls).
• Experience of working with commercially focused software engineering teams using Agile/DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills; effective working independently and within teams.
• Experience managing complex projects.
• Highly proficient in at least two of the following technologies:
• • Docker (AWS ECS)
• • Terraform, Ansible, or CDK
• • AWS IaaS (EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway)
• • CloudFlare
• • Windows Server (IIS)
• • Linux
