Data Scientist

The Data Scientist role supports the growth of the sports betting and gaming business by generating insights that inform strategic decisions. This position partners with senior commercial stakeholders to guide Sportsbook and Casino strategy, providing data-driven analysis and recommendations that impact player engagement and overall commercial performance. The role is part of a Decision Science team focused on leveraging advanced analytics to optimize business outcomes in a fast-evolving iGaming environment.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop expertise in the iGaming ecosystem, including Sportsbook and Casino operations and player behavior

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in Sports and Casino units

• Collaborate with data teams to create scalable solutions for complex business challenges

• Support the development and improvement of automated personalization and promotion systems

• Build and maintain Lifetime Value models to enhance player segmentation and marketing efficiency

• Stay updated on machine learning trends and industry shifts in sports betting and gaming

• 3-5 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics

• Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics

• Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience in building and validating machine learning models

• Strong understanding of statistics, including regression, clustering, and A/B testing

• Expertise in experimental design and causal inference methods such as A/B/n testing and uplift modeling

• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and communicate insights clearly

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred but not required:

• Experience with Generative AI applications in commercial analytics

• Background in iGaming or Customer Lifetime Value modeling

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range: $117,000 to $167,000 USD, varying by geographical location and subject to adjustment based on the specific offer

• Additional compensation includes base salary, bonus, and full-time employment benefits
