Job description

  • Develop and refine models to support demand forecasting across various planning horizons

  • Analyze large datasets using statistical and forecasting techniques to generate actionable insights

  • Support simulation and scenario analysis to understand market dynamics involving patients, payers, and providers

  • Participate in all stages of the modeling lifecycle, including problem framing, data analysis, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment support, and explainability

  • Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate and apply new forecasting, data science, and AI methodologies

  • Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Master's degree OR

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience OR

  • Associate's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience OR

  • High school diploma / GED plus 8 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in data science, analytics, or statistical modeling in industry, research, or enterprise environments

  • Time-series forecasting, predictive modeling, or related quantitative methods experience

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity in libraries such as scikit-learn, PyMC, PyTorch, or TensorFlow

  • Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets

  • Familiarity with model development workflows and interpretative techniques

  • Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts

  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams

  • Intellectual curiosity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, or decision science in relevant industries is preferred

  • Exposure to causal inference, probabilistic modeling, or scenario analysis is a plus
