Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consulting Analytics Engineer for a one-year contract role. This remote position offers a competitive rate of $110/hour. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of data engineering, business intelligence, and applied AI, ensuring data solutions are accurate, governed, scalable, and aligned with organizational strategy.

Responsibilities:

Data Architecture & DataMart Development:

  • Design and maintain analytic-ready datasets
  • Lead development of enterprise DataMarts
  • Ensure alignment with standardized business definitions and CMS-driven logic
  • Partner with Managed Care, Finance, and Operations to stabilize and operationalize requirements

Data Pipeline & Data Lake Enablement:

  • Build and optimize data pipelines leveraging Databricks and enterprise data platforms
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including Epic Clarity, Tapestry, claims, and external vendors
  • Support transformation, and validation of large-scale datasets
  • Automate data workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve reliability

Business Intelligence & Visualization:

  • Develop and maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards aligned to DSS standards
  • Enable self-service analytics by exposing curated datasets rather than one-off reports

AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement:

  • Leverage Python for data transformation, automation, and advanced analytics workflows
  • Integrate LLM-based capabilities for summarization, classification, and insight generation
  • Partner in developing AI-driven data products that enhance operational decision-making
  • Support transition toward automated data pipelines and AI-enriched datasets

Requirements

If you are passionate, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to take your career to the next level, we would love to hear from you., * 5-8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering within Epic healthcare, managed care, data environment

  • Proven experience designing and developing analytic-ready datasets and enterprise DataMarts supporting reporting and operational analytics
  • Hands-on experience working with data lake or modern data platforms such as Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or Snowflake
  • Strong experience developing and optimizing SQL-based data transformations across large, complex datasets
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience using Python for data processing, automation, and analytics workflows
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, and validation
  • Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based use cases, including data summarization, classification, or insight generation
  • Experience working with healthcare data domains such as claims, enrollment, provider data, or electronic health records (Epic Clarity preferred)
  • Experience supporting regulatory or audit-driven reporting (e.g., CMS, HEDIS, Medicare Advantage)
