Information Security Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures.
• Build, replace, decommission, and modify enterprise firewalls.
• Perform firewall migrations using tools such as Expedition, FortiConverter, and SmartMove.
• Conduct security policy analysis, rulebase optimization, and threat prevention tuning.
• Troubleshoot complex firewall and network security issues.
• Review logs and monitoring data using Splunk and other enterprise monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with network, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Support multiple concurrent projects and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for after-hours support.

• 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, supporting moderately complex enterprise initiatives.
• 5+ years of infrastructure firewall experience in large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on implementation and troubleshooting experience with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet.
• Experience performing firewall configuration, security policy design, rulebase optimization, and firewall hardening.
• Experience reviewing and troubleshooting logs using Splunk and other monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Check Point firewalls.
• Exposure to automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Industry certifications such as PCNSA/PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 4/5, or CCSA/CCSE.
• Experience working in large financial services or regulated environments.

The pay rate for this position is $53.00/hr to $57.00/hr.
