Job description
A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Systems Specialist to join their Procurement team on a temporary six-month contract based in Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in supporting both Global Procurement Category and Regional teams, working closely with cross-functional groups on impactful projects that drive digital transformation and process excellence. This is a 6 month FTC., As a Systems Specialist based in Lancashire, you will be instrumental in shaping how procurement systems are designed, implemented, and optimised across the organisation. Your day-to-day activities will involve:
- Designing and documenting standard processes for the effective use of procurement systems across all relevant business areas.
- Implementing standard procurement systems throughout the organisation's procurement functions.
- Developing comprehensive training materials and deliver standardised training sessions.
- Supporting and managing digital transformation initiatives from initial evaluation through to successful implementation.
- Maintaining accurate key data within procurement systems, ensuring information integrity and supporting informed decision-making across the business.
Please note, you need a vehicle and full drivers licence to attend site. It is not easily accessible via public transportation.
Requirements
To excel as a Systems Specialist in this forward-thinking organisation, you will bring hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Demonstrated experience working with complex systems and digital applications within a large-scale business environment; familiarity with ERP systems is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing while influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience developing or delivering training content related to system usage or process changes.
