Infrastructure Engineer (UC4) in Chicago

Seeking a hands-on engineer with strong Automic/UC4 expertise to manage enterprise scheduling, automation, and production operations across hybrid environments (AWS, Windows, Linux, MVS). This role drives operational reliability, proactive issue prevention, and continuous improvement., * Build, maintain, and optimize UC4 job schedules and workflows.

• Support development and testing teams with UC4 object creation.
• Troubleshoot production scheduling issues and perform core UC4 administration.
• Automate processes using UC4 scripting, Python, PowerShell, and REGEX.
• Manage file transfers (Connect Direct, Sterling, FTP) and batch/REST integrations.
• Lead proactive operations, performance analysis, and KPI reporting.
• Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Maintain documentation, share knowledge, and coordinate with vendors.
• Provide on-call and after-hours support as needed.

• Strong UC4/Automic scheduling and automation experience.
• Solid troubleshooting, communication, and operational judgment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
• Experience in financial services or similar industries.
• AWS experience or certifications.
• ITIL or incident/problem management background.
• Disaster recovery and hybrid cloud experience.
• Familiarity with legacy scripting (Perl, REXX).
