  • Support and maintain City enterprise applications including capital project management, fleet management, and financial systems so City teams can do their jobs without disruption.

  • Lead software updates, testing, and user training to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and easy to use.

  • Manage user access and permissions to protect sensitive data while ensuring employees have the tools they need.

  • Test new configurations and system updates to catch issues early and maintain high software quality.

  • Create and maintain clear system documentation so applications are well-understood, supported, and sustainable over time.

  • Resolve application issues through the enterprise ticketing system while working closely with IT teammates and third-party vendors. What success looks like

  • IT support requests are resolved quickly, accurately, and professionally.

  • End users clearly understand solutions, next steps, and system changes.

  • Application documentation is current, organized, and easy to follow.

  • Updates and changes are tested thoroughly before release.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills and a helpful, solutions-focused mindset
  • Experience supporting end-user applications or IT systems
  • Ability to document processes clearly and accurately
  • Working knowledge of common IT concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Comfort creating or modifying SQL-based reports using application tools
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and external vendors Qualifications REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree and 4 years of technology experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and technology experience. Preference for applicants with working knowledge of fleet maintenance software applications. Including, but not limited to AssetWorks M5, Syntech FuelFuelMaster, AgileFleet., Positions requiring a high school diploma/GED certificate must be obtained from a school/program accredited by the Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education. The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education. For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained. Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
