Job description
Architecture & Development:
Lead the design and development of Pega applications, focusing on claims processing solutions integrated with Smart Claims Engine (SCE). Ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of Pega-based applications by adhering to best practices and architectural standards.
SCE Integration: Leverage extensive knowledge of SCE to configure, integrate, and optimize claims workflows within the Pega environment. Collaborate with business and technical teams to align SCE capabilities with Pega applications.
Solution Design: Translate business requirements into technical designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture. Oversee the development of reusable components, frameworks, and utilities to accelerate delivery.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to Pega design principles and best practices. Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership to maintain high standards of code quality.
System Integration: Design and implement integrations between Pega applications, SCE, and other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and data exchange protocols.
Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to improve system efficiency and reliability. Implement best practices for system tuning and optimization.
Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Facilitate communication between onshore and offshore teams for seamless project execution.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all solutions comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other industry standards.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) with at least 5 years of experience in Smart Claims Engine (SCE) to lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative claims processing solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Pega architecture and SCE to drive end-to-end development, ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and compliance with healthcare industry standards., Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA). Extensive hands-on experience with Smart Claims Engine (SCE), specifically in healthcare claims processing.
Certifications: Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification is mandatory.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Pega platform, including case management, decision rules, and BPM concepts. Proficiency in integration methodologies (APIs, SOAP/REST, EDI) and healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR). Strong skills in Java, SQL, and enterprise database management systems. Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of claims adjudication workflows, payer systems, and compliance regulations.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams. Experience in managing project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Strong stakeholder management abilities with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of healthcare analytics and reporting tools.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: 114,500 $ - 134,500 $ Per Year Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
