Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Solutions Lead - Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Kennesaw, GA or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The Business Solution Lead (BSL) is accountable for the operational management of a portfolio of applications supporting critical business capabilities. This role ensures application stability, resiliency, compliance, and effective coordination across technology and business partners. The BSL serves as the primary technology liaison for assigned applications, coordinating infrastructure changes, vendor upgrades, production incidents, and security remediation in alignment with enterprise standards. Responsibilities:
- Ensure ongoing operational health, availability, and compliance of supported applications
- Act as the primary technology contact for application-related BAU (Business-as-usual) activities
- Coordinate with business partners, infrastructure teams, Production Support, and vendors on server/OS upgrades, middleware updates, and vendor product upgrades
- Assess impacts, ensure readiness, and drive execution through established intake and change processes
- Engage as a key participant during application incidents and outages, partnering to restore service and conduct root cause analysis
- For internally developed applications, coordinate BAU activities with project teams to align with release schedules
- Track application security gaps, vulnerabilities, and compliance findings, coordinating remediation efforts

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in application support, business solution management, or technology operations within a large enterprise environment
- Experience supporting multiple applications concurrently, including vendor-hosted and internally developed solutions
- Strong background in BAU operations, production support, and operational change management
- Hands-on experience coordinating infrastructure upgrades, vendor releases, and production incidents
- Solid understanding of application architectures, infrastructure components (servers, OS, middleware, networking), SDLC, and release management processes
- Working knowledge of production incident management, root cause analysis, and operational risk reduction
- Familiarity with enterprise security controls, vulnerability management, and remediation tracking
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and operate effectively without formal project authority
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Risk-aware mindset with a focus on stability, compliance, and resiliency
Desired skills:
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments
- Prior experience working with third-party vendors and contract-managed applications
- Familiarity with enterprise production support models (e.g., L1/L2/L3)
- Experience supporting applications subject to information security, risk, and compliance reviews
