Job description
The District Director - Business Systems leads the strategy, implementation, and optimization of enterprise software platforms to improve operational efficiency. This position manages the business needs and technical solutions of the District to enhance data, automate workflows, and ensure system reliability.
The District Director - Business Systems serves as the lead functional expert and primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for mission-critical enterprise systems, including Financial, Human Resources, and Budget platforms., 40% - Serve as subject matter expert/end-user resource and advocate for the PeopleSoft ERP and Hyperion systems
- Provide production support and continuing education to the end-user community
- Work with the development team and end-users to review and implement ongoing maintenance and to provide production support when issues/questions arise, including researching/reviewing documentation provided by Oracle
30% - Ensures the stability, optimization, and continued evolution of the District's enterprise systems
- Collaborates with functional leaders across the District to align system capabilities with institutional priorities
20% - Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards across ERP systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
10% - Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the work of two senior analysts, Additional materials will not be accepted after the job posting has closed.

Requirements
Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in information technology, computer science, business engineering, or a related field, and four (4) years of progressively responsible management and/or leadership experience in the area of assignment, including two (2) years of supervisory experience., An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above, sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered., 1. Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Engineering
- Five or more years of experience with Oracle PeopleSoft ERP systems.
- Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a higher education/government environment
- Experience in establishing cooperative working relationships with customers and peers
- One year of full-time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two years
