Job description

  • Design, build, and operate secure cloud platform services and software that meet business requirements
  • Demonstrate experience with the full development life cycle for large-scale software products, including extensive knowledge of service-oriented architectures, design patterns, data, and web services
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other engineers and offshore/global teams
  • Understand product, project, and consumer priorities and follow Agile methodologies to deliver features within the specified timeline
  • Independently perform coding and unit testing, and assist/mentor team members as needed, including conducting code reviews
  • Adhere to code quality standards, development best practices, and deliver defect-free code
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
  • Partner with the business and enterprise architecture team to understand requirements and design/develop end-to-end solutions
  • Practice agile solution delivery and influence teams towards engineering best practices, such as DevOps, CI/CD, and everything-as-code
  • Understand performance parameters, debug, fix application performance issues, and address/resolve operations tickets within guided SLAs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in large-scale distributed system development, including hands-on operational experience
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java/J2EE (preferably Java 17 and above), Spring Boot, NoSQL Database, Docker/Kubernetes, GitHub
  • 6+ years of experience with Agile/lean development practice
  • 4+ years of experience working with Microservices and Event-driven architecture like Kafka
  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud environments and architectures, preferably Azure
  • 2+ years of engineering experience in building infrastructure using code (Terraform) and repeatable designs
  • 2+ years of experience in automation of CI/CD and source control systems such as Git

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
