• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale Citrix infrastructure and contribute to long-term architecture planning.

Client is looking for an experienced Sr. Citrix Engineer to support and enhance its enterprise VDI environment. This role involves managing and optimizing Citrix infrastructure at scale while contributing to long-term architecture and automation initiatives. The position requires both deep technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and leadership., * 5+ years of Citrix engineering experience in large-scale environments (e.g., 5,000+ users or enterprise-level organizations).

• Strong experience managing enterprise VDI environments.
• Candidates must reside within a 45-mile radius of Chicago or Houston office locations.

Technical & Soft Skills Core Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in Citrix DaaS, Studio, Director, StoreFront, Workspace, and NetScaler/ADC.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and routers.
• Experience with VMware administration and SAN/storage concepts.
• Experience managing thin-client endpoints (e.g., IGEL, Dell, HP) in a Citrix environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using ServiceNow for request fulfillment and automation.
• Familiarity with SCCM, Workspace ONE, or SysTrack.
• Knowledge of certificate management tools (Venafi preferred).
• Experience in leadership roles or as a primary architect in large enterprises.
