Job description

We are seeking a Microsoft SQL Server DBA / Data Platform Engineer to support business-critical systems. This role will focus on managing SQL Server environments that support manufacturing, reporting, and enterprise applications integrated with Oracle EBS., * Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments (2016/2019/2022)

  • Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies
  • Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery (HA/DR)
  • Monitor system health and proactively resolve issues
  • Support ETL processes (SSIS) and data integrations with Oracle systems
  • Work with business teams on reporting and data needs (SSRS / Power BI)
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server DBA

  • Expertise in:

  • T-SQL, performance tuning

  • Backup/recovery strategies

  • Indexing and query optimization

Experience with SSIS / SSRS / Power BI

Experience in production support environments

Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating with Oracle EBS or other ERP systems
  • Exposure to Azure SQL / cloud environments
  • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain systems
  • Scripting (PowerShell)

Work Environment

  • Requires on-call support
  • Collaboration with cross-functional IT and business teams
