Job description
BAE Systems is looking for a Data Manager to support our engineering teams in planning, preparing, organizing, controlling, and submitting contractually required data. The work is guided by data management policies and procedures, and under the direction of the designated Configuration/Data Management (CDM) Lead. This fast-paced role is vital to the performance of a program throughout its lifecycle. You will be required to review contractual documents, based on the information, construct a 30/60/90 day deliverable outlook with due dates, resources and proactively communicate to the program, holding individuals accountable to the schedule. You will present deliverable status during program management meetings. As deliverable items are received, you are required to review them to ensure they meet contractual requirements and followed DM processes.

Communicate effectively and proactively both orally and in writing.

Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers.

Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents.

Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

Analyze, evaluate, develop and implement processes and systems within budget and adhere to schedules/deadlines

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Power Point, Excel).
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Strong Microsoft Office Skills
Must be able to obtain a secret clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Active Secret clearance
Two or more years related experience.
Active Secret clearance
Experience working with government contracts

Full-Time Salary Range: $64926 - $110374
