Job description

The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support advanced defense and aerospace programs in Grand Prairie, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled engineering professional with expertise in test systems development, test procedures, troubleshooting, and test requirement development.

This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in hands-on technical environments and have experience designing, executing, and improving complex test systems for high-performance products. What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced testing methods, systems, and equipment
  • Plan and coordinate labor, schedules, and resources required for testing activities
  • Develop and execute:
  • Test procedures
  • Test requirements
  • Sample testing parameters
  • Troubleshooting plans
  • Evaluate standard and specialized devices through detailed testing and analysis
  • Compile test data and identify required improvements to:
  • Testing equipment
  • Procedures
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Future test requirements
  • Support customer sample testing and specialized test scenarios not handled by standard test areas
  • Troubleshoot test failures and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure quality and performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent technical degree with extensive experience)
  • 6+ years of experience in:
  • Test systems development
  • Test procedure development and execution
  • Troubleshooting complex systems
  • Developing test requirements
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in structured engineering or defense environments
  • Ability to adapt to shift changes and onsite collaboration requirements, * Interim or active security clearance
  • Aerospace or defense industry experience
  • Experience supporting production, manufacturing, or advanced system validation
  • Ability to travel occasionally for program support
