An opportunity is available for an IT Infrastructure Manager to support enterprise IT operations and mission-critical infrastructure services. This role involves leading the modernization, security, and reliability of IT systems that support national defense mission readiness and operational continuity. The position requires ensuring today is safe and tomorrow is smarter., * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with mission requirements.
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure challenges, minimizing downtime and ensuring system resilience.
- Foster a high-performance team environment that emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Oversee the lifecycle of infrastructure systems including design, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring mission-critical systems remain operational.
- Utilize technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), virtualization, and automation tools to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.
Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: 8+ years of related experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or network operations is required, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and automation tools.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks., * Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, ITIL, Cisco CCNA/CCNP).
- Experience with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Benefits & conditions
The anticipated salary for this position is between $170,000 and $180,000. This employer offers a comprehensive benefits package.
