Provides IC data management support to modernize mega data repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions., As part of the Operations Team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining system stability, supporting customers, and resolving complex technical challenges. - Support and maintain a cloud-based analytics platform in a mission-critical environment
- Provide Tier 1-3 operational support, troubleshooting and resolving system issues
- Ensure day-to-day system reliability, performance, and availability
- Collaborate closely with engineering and mission teams to meet evolving customer needs
- Proactively identify issues and implement improvements to operational processes, * Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Big data technologies: Hadoop, HDFS, Accumulo
- Scripting: Python, Bash
- Monitoring and operations tools: Prometheus, Grafana, JIRA
- Configuration management: Salt, Ansible
- Cloud and virtualization platforms: OpenStack, AWS

Requirements
- Strong experience troubleshooting Linux-based systems
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Comfort working evening or mid shifts in an operational support role, * Education: Bachelor's in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications: Must have 8570 IAT Level I or higher (Security+ preferred) and one of the below certifications to start in this role:
- AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional
- CDP Administrator - Private Cloud Base
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Linux & Networking: 7+ years with RedHat/CentOS, including command line, networking (nmap, tcpdump, firewalls), and kickstart/provisioning.
- DNS & Network Services: 2+ years managing RedHat DNS, hosts files, and DHCP.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Benefits & conditions
Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
