Network Engineer

• Assist in the configuration, support, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
• Monitor network performance and respond to incidents, alerts, and service requests
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to switches, routers, firewalls, and network devices
• Support network user access, IP addressing, VLANs, and basic routing protocols
• Assist with network documentation, diagrams, and asset tracking
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and hardware installations
• Support network security controls such as firewall rules, VPNs, and access controls
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and vendors as needed
• Participate in network upgrades, changes, and infrastructure projects

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-2 years of experience in networking, IT support, or infrastructure roles
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Familiarity with routers, switches, and wireless access points
• Basic troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn enterprise network environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite in Miami, FL, * Internship or hands-on lab experience with networking equipment
• Exposure to Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or similar networking platforms
• Entry-level certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or equivalent (or in progress)
• Experience with ticketing systems and monitoring tools
• Interest in growing toward Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or Network Security roles
