Job description
The Paid Social Media Specialist is responsible for the execution, optimization, and performance analysis of paid social campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions. This role requires hands-on platform expertise, a strong understanding of campaign strategy, and a data-driven mindset. The ideal candidate brings experience managing campaigns across multiple platforms, a proactive approach to testing and optimization, and a deep curiosity for evolving social and measurement capabilities., * Build, monitor, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Support with builds, optimizations, and budget pacing across other channels such as programmatic and Google.
- Assist in creative trafficking and QA to ensure campaigns launch error-free.
- Conduct audience research and recommend targeting strategies.
- Pull campaign performance data and contribute to client reports.
- Pull weekly campaign performance for tracking campaign spend and % to budget.
- Stay up to date on platform updates, AI tools, and best practices in measurement.
- Collaborate with creative, digital, and account teams to ensure campaigns align with client goals.
- Communicate campaign updates, changes and optimizations in a proactive manner.
- Support testing roadmaps (creative, audience, bidding) and share findings.
- Own the technical client onboarding practice, ensuring access to platforms in a secure and consistent manner.
- Ensure campaign naming is consistent with nomenclature for easy data aggregation and accuracy.
- Help set up pixels, event tracking, and basic attribution flows.
- Create and manage documentation of social media specs, be the go-to person for questions surrounding specs and social placement details.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of experience with paid social (agency roles preferred).
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and at least one other major platform (YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Eagerness to learn GA4, Tag Manager, and attribution basics.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
