The Paid Social Specialist will lead the tactical execution and performance optimization of paid advertising campaigns across social platforms. Working closely with strategy and media teams, this role turns audience insights into media execution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of platform capabilities, campaign measurement, and how paid media integrates into broader marketing goals.
Primary Job Functions
Strategic Planning & Recommendations
- Collaborate with strategy, planning, and account teams to develop tactical plans that ladder up to broader media strategy.
- Recommend platform mix, targeting strategies, and KPIs.
- Stay informed on platform updates, tools, and best practices.
Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Launch and QA campaigns across key platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.).
- Optimize daily budget pacing, creative rotation, and audience performance.
- Implement A/B tests and document learnings.
Reporting & Insights
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards.
- Deliver post-campaign analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with analytics to refine performance benchmarks.
Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and clients on campaign plans and results.
- Engage in brainstorming and POV development on social trends.
- Partner with influencer and creative teams for integrated efforts.
Emerging Media & Innovation
- Implement and manage AI-powered features across Paid Social Platforms.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics influenced by AI tools.
- Use Generative AI platforms to assist with ad copy creation, audience personas, and data formatting tasks.
- Collaborate with Coordinators to ensure AI recommendations are properly executed.
- Assist Managers in testing AI-enhanced visuals, dynamic asset combinations, and budget allocation strategies.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 1-5 years' experience working in an advertising agency (or related experience); or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
