Job description
One of our large financial services clients is looking for a level 1 hardware support technician to join their team. This person will be joining a team of 5 to support the companies 6,000 end users, both locally and globally.
Requirements
This team is responsible for decommissioning old hardware, setting up new hire hardware and troubleshooting all hardware problems. ServiceNow is used to track and document all stock. Communication, attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment is a must., Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or related work experience
-2-3 years of experience working in hardware support
-Experience working with Windows PCs and laptops, docking stations and some Apple products
-Experiences troubleshooting and triaging
- Fast and open to learn mindset
- Experience with Asset Management
- Knowledge of TCP/IP
- Experience with Service Now ticketing system
- Knowledge of Networking or networking protocols
- Experience with new hire set ups ; new orientation, docking stations, access, ETC - Global support experience: London, India, ETC
- End of life project: replacing/reimaging/decommissioning desktops/laptops
