Job description

A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Secret IT Project Manager to join their team! This IT PM will play a key role in supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of IT projects-from planning and execution to successful completion-within defined scope, budget, and timeline. The IT Project Manager ensures that each project aligns with business goals and is delivered to meet or exceed expectations., * Oversee all phases of project management, including planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, closure, and post-project evaluation.

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple geographic locations.
  • Develop and manage IT strategic plans and budgets to align with organizational goals.
  • Create, maintain, and ensure accuracy of comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements

This position is onsite full-time in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL the salary range for this role is between $100,000-$135,000 depending on years and level of experience, education, and certifications. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance or higher., * Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with a proven track record of successfully leading high-budget initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor and stakeholder negotiations, driving favorable outcomes and strategic partnerships.
  • CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) certification - PMP Certification ITIL Certification
  • Have Earned Value Management and Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience managing projects in waterfall or agile methodologies
