Job description
We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant IT Project Manager to lead and support strategic technology initiatives within our IT Delivery Practice. This role focuses on driving modernization, improving delivery processes, and enabling business value through technology. Day to Day job Duties:
- Partner with executives, engineers, architects, and business teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Lead planning and execution of technology modernization initiatives, ensuring streamlined tools, processes, and delivery capabilities.
- Assess project scope, prioritize work across technology domains, and support modernization roadmaps.
- Build strong relationships with IT and product teams to identify opportunities for value creation.
- Develop and manage portfolio processes, balancing speed, cost, and strategic impact.
- Prepare documentation and deliver presentations for technical and leadership audiences.
- Support portfolio planning activities, including OKRs, KPIs, and initiative tracking.
- Contribute to organizational change management efforts.
- Oversee financial management for programs and projects, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency across delivery teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years leading technology projects, programs, or portfolios.
- 7+ years managing modernization or transformation initiatives across diverse technologies.
- 2+ years' experience working with or supporting Cybersecurity initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Deep understanding of project, program, and portfolio management methodologies.
- Proven experience managing plans, budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Ability to identify and manage technical dependencies across multiple initiatives.
- Effective leadership and influencing skills in cross functional environments.
- Experience in financial services is a plus.
- PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred.
