Job description
The Data Analyst's daily responsibilities include reviewing and validating large utility and GIS datasets to identify data quality issues and improvement opportunities, analyzing multi source data to support DER planning and interconnection efforts, and building queries, visual summaries, and/or digital products to derive and share insights with project teams. They collaborate closely with engineers and subject matter experts to interpret trends, support testing and validation of analytical tools, and help refine methodologies that inform grid performance, DER integration, and planning decisions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis
- Bachelor's degree
- High attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes in a regulated environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working across multiple workflows and priorities in a fast-paced operational setting
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Data visualization / communication experience
- Exposure to AMI or GIS tools
- Prior utility experience
