Job description

  • Own the integrated finance workstream plan, key deliverables, milestones, and execution across multiple teams.
  • Lead delivery across finance workstreams including Finance Operations, Controlling, and Tax, with coverage across core finance processes (e.g., Record-to-Report).
  • Develop a detailed near-term plan (focused on the next 6-8 weeks) while maintaining alignment to the broader program roadmap.

Governance, RAID, and Delivery Discipline

  • Build and manage program governance, including status reporting, milestone tracking, and executive-ready updates.
  • Own the RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), driving mitigation plans, timely escalation, and decision-making.
  • Drive outcome-based tracking against milestones and ensure clear visibility to stakeholders.

Cross-Functional & Vendor Orchestration

  • Act as a bridge between business, IT, and delivery teams to maintain alignment, resolve blockers, and manage dependencies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party delivery teams (including onshore/nearshore/offshore), ensuring accountability and consistent execution.
  • Partner across workstreams to manage integration dependencies within a complex enterprise systems landscape.

Requirements, Quality, Testing, Training & Cutover Readiness

  • Review and validate finance requirements exiting blueprint, confirming readiness for build and test and identifying gaps early.
  • Identify and integrate technology capabilities that may have been missed in initial scope.
  • Lead planning and reporting for QA, testing, training, cutover, and finance business readiness activities.

Change Enablement & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the business, helping teams adopt effective project delivery practices and improving responsiveness during testing/training cycles.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members as needed to strengthen execution and delivery consistency., Onsite in Nutley, NJ is required Monday-Thursday for the first month to support onboarding and team integration.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale ERP or enterprise finance transformations in complex environments.
  • Strong expertise in integrated planning, governance, milestone tracking, and RAID management.
  • Proven success coordinating across multi-vendor and distributed delivery teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting SAP finance initiatives and/or finance workstreams such as Record-to-Report, Tax, Financial Operations, and Controlling.
  • Experience managing cross-program dependencies in highly integrated enterprise environments.

  • After the first month, expected onsite schedule transitions to Tuesday-Thursday in Nutley, NJ.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $95/hr to $125/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
