Job description

  • Install, set up, and support IT equipment in various schools
  • Administer servers, cloud services, and manage local/wide area networks
  • Assist school staff in effectively utilizing IT systems
  • Respond to user support requests via a bespoke fault logging system
  • Undertake change requests as directed by the schools IT coordinator
  • Maintain and develop Microsoft-based end-user and server equipment

Requirements

  • Experience as an IT Technician in an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows & Office products
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Entra, and M365 platforms
  • Ability to manage Group Policy & Active Directory
  • Experience with network infrastructure diagnostics
  • Hands-on installation of mainstream software & MSI deployment
  • Knowledge of Apple products (advantageous)
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle (essential)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work
