Job description
We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to design and develop scalable backend systems supporting enterprise credit risk analytics (CCAR, CECL, IFRS9). This role operates in a fast-paced environment, focusing on high-performance, fault-tolerant systems and modern development practices., * Design, develop, and maintain backend services and batch systems using Java and Python
- Participate in full SDLC: design, development, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Contribute to system design, architecture, and coding best practices
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MongoDB)
- Implement messaging solutions (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud and Linux environments
- Utilize DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure system scalability, performance, and fault tolerance
- Follow security, compliance, and risk management standards
Requirements

6 8 years of backend development experience

Strong expertise in Java and Python

Experience with distributed systems, messaging, and cloud computing

Proficiency in Linux and containerization tools

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, * Experience in financial services or credit risk technology

Exposure to CCAR, CECL, IFRS9 frameworks

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Leadership or project ownership experience, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Success Factors
