Job description

As an IT Support Technician, you'll work across our Redhouse and Quest Park sites, delivering hands-on and remote support in a fast-paced environment. This IT Support Technician role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being the first point of contact for IT support.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support both desk-side and remotely.
  • Managing and prioritising a high volume of IT support requests.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Supporting user accounts (Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
  • Maintaining IT equipment including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
  • Logging and managing tickets through the IT system.
  • Escalating complex issues to the Network Engineering team when needed.

Requirements

We're looking for a confident and proactive IT Support Technician who can thrive in a busy, hands-on role.

You'll need:

  • Experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Confidence working independently as an on-site IT Support Technician.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS).
  • Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL processes.
  • Knowledge of Intune or device deployment tools.
