Due to continued growth within our business, we are looking to appoint a Security Vetting Administrator to work alongside our Security Controller and play a pivotal role in supporting the compliant delivery of project specific clearances across government, defence, and commercially sensitive environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and initiative-taking individual with experience in the security vetting environments to join an established consultancy and work closely with the Security Controller, project teams, and clients nationwide. About the Role As a Security Vetting Administrator, you will function as the central coordination point for security clearances, maintenance and progress of all clearance requests and keeping track of all projects specific clearance in accordance with the applicable HMG policy and keeping the Security Controller updated on all information governance and compliance reporting any lapses. Your work will enable Ridge teams to operate efficiently while meeting stringent client, regulatory and national security requirements. You will collaborate closely with the Security Controller, Project Managers and People Teams, providing trusted guidance and ensuring best practice is embedded across people, projects, and data., * Managing and maintaining personnel security clearances (including BPSS, DBS, SC, and DV where applicable).

Ensuring compliance with security classifications and secure data-handling requirements.

Overseeing the secure storage, transmission, and disposal of sensitive information.

Supporting the company in planning and delivering work within restricted or high-security environments.

Maintaining compliance with national security frameworks OSA/NSA, internal policies and client-specific standards.

Preparing security compliance reports and supporting internal and external audits.

Acting as a point of contact for clearance-related queries and providing guidance to staff.

Requirements
You will bring experience of working within a security vetting environment and be comfortable managing sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. You will be highly organised, detail-driven, and confident working with multiple stakeholders across a busy private consultancy environment. Key requirements include:
- You may already hold an existing security clearance.
- Experience in government, defence, critical infrastructure, or similar security-sensitive environments.
- Strong understanding of personnel security and clearance processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply security policies and government standards.
- Experience using secure document management and access-control systems.
- A professional, discreet, and solutions-focused approach.
