Job description
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Performing network monitoring, operations, and routine maintenance.
- Supporting end users with hardware/software needs and training.
- Applying updates, patches, and preventative maintenance for systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues using automated tools.
- Assisting with minor system tasks and field service support.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree with 7+ years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience
- Security+ certification or any DoD IAT Level II and higher
- Perform STIGs & IAVA implementation for system devices, perform imaging of systems, CERP replacement, etc.
- Ability to interact with customers on a daily basis providing guidance and procedures concerning account requests, e-mail, home directories, file access/storage, local procedures, etc. as required to ensure mission success
- Perform Level I/II Active Directory functions such as unlocking accounts, creating and issuing accounts, etc.
Benefits & conditions
Location: Charlottesville, VA Onsite Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:45PM-12:15AM or 12AM-8AM (100% on-site) Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI Salary/Pay range: $34.56/hr. + SCA fringe benefit $4.93/hr. for up to 40 hours worked per week. Benefits include paid Federal Holidays, paid sick leave, and 2 weeks of PTO after the first year on contract.
