SAIC is looking for an ambitious Lead Systems Administrator/VMWare SME like you! Candidates will join a fast-paced and growing team of System Administrators in supporting a 24/7 high visibility Watch Center. In addition to maintaining a private Customer Cloud, candidates should expect to gain experience in new administration technologies; tackle individual and group projects; work closely with other IT professionals; and participate in a growing ever-changing mission. Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly in order to be considered

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience in place of degree will be considered

  • High Degree of Experience building/configuring/maintaining/upgrading/tuning/ troubleshooting VMware virtual infrastructures

  • Experience with the following aspects of Windows Domain Administration: -Active Directory -Group Policy -DNS -DHCP -WSUS

  • Experience with any of the following virtualization products and services: Citrix, Nutanix or HyperV

  • Experience managing Windows Server 2012/2016/2019; Windows Client 10/11

  • Working knowledge of basic networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, subnets

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to work on a 24/7 weekly on call rotation

  • Willingness to participate in WMA or CONUS travel (<10%)

  • Ability to rack/stack/install physical equipment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor
  • VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
  • Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Experience with EMC enterprise storage arrays
  • Experience with designing/implementing COOP plans
  • Experience administering Red Hat derivative Linux distributions
