Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Integration Lead to design and deliver the console's data ingestion and integration layer, enabling reliable data collection from multiple sources (e.g., CMDB, monitoring, ticketing, inventory, cloud services, operational stores). This role will define integration patterns that ensure data is accurate, timely, traceable, and resilient-supporting persona-based views that depend on consistent and trustworthy information. The Senior Integration Lead will establish standards for connectors/adapters, canonical data modeling, data quality controls, and integration testing, while partnering with UI and BFF/API teams to ensure the console delivers cohesive, actionable experiences. This role is ideal for an engineer who can bridge API design, distributed systems, and data quality practices-while also owning troubleshooting and operational reliability across integrations.
Requirements
8+ years of engineering experience focused on integrations, platforms, or backend services 5+ years building and operating API integrations in distributed enterprise environments Strong experience designing ingestion patterns across APIs, message/event streams, batch interfaces, and databases Proven experience with data modeling (canonical models, mapping strategies, schema evolution) Strong knowledge of resiliency patterns: idempotency, retries, backoff, circuit breakers, dead-letter handling, replay strategies Experience implementing integration testing and contract testing to prevent breaking changes across systems Strong troubleshooting skills across complex production environments; ability to diagnose failures across multiple dependencies Experience with CI/CD and source control workflows (Git), including automated validation pipelines Experience with CMDB/ITSM/monitoring integrations and operational data ecosystems Familiarity with data quality practices (reconciliation, deduplication, freshness SLAs, lineage) Experience with observability tooling and techniques for integrations (correlation IDs, tracing, structured logging) Experience in hybrid environments and network/security constraints impacting integrations Knowledge of authentication patterns used by enterprise systems (token-based auth, mTLS concepts, service principals)
