Data & Cloud Solutions Architect

We are hiring a Data & Cloud Solutions Architect (Contract) for an on-site role in San Jose. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable cloud-based data architectures on Microsoft Azure. You will build data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes, while also creating clear architecture diagrams and documentation. This is a hands-on role involving both strategy and execution.

Strong data engineering & cloud architecture expertise Hands-on experience with Azure data services Proficiency in Spark, Databricks, MapReduce Solid understanding of data modeling (ER, data flows) Experience with relational & NoSQL databases Strong diagramming skills (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.) Programming: Python, SQL Knowledge of data security & governance Excellent communication & problem-solving skills Required Experience Minimum 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience Proven experience building cloud-based data solutions (Azure) Strong background in distributed data processing systems Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering (mandatory) Experience working in cross-functional teams
