job summary: Looking for a Technical Specialist in Katy, TX. Join Our Client, a global industrial tech leader creating a connected future! Requires a related degree, 1+ year of trade compliance experience, and ERP knowledge. Mitigate regulatory risk and touch billions of lives!

location: Katy, Texas job type: Contract salary: $35 - 40 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the accurate classification of products using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN).
  • Oversee global import and export activities to guarantee compliance with U.S. and international laws, including EAR and ITAR regulations.
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to support new product introductions, design changes, and maintain critical data integrity.
  • Accurately maintain trade compliance data within ERP and jurisdiction systems to mitigate regulatory risks and support the efficient global movement of goods.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for trade compliance processes while ensuring strict adherence to internal Quality Management System requirements.
