Site Reliability Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a client supporting mission critical transaction processing systems. This individual will play a key role in deploying and supporting AWS based applications, including ECS services connected to RDS databases, while helping the organization expand into a second AWS region.

The ideal candidate is confident, technically strong, and comfortable engaging in design discussions, presenting ideas, and challenging architectural decisions when needed. This role offers long term stability, exposure to highly visible systems, and collaboration with a global engineering team in a regulated, high impact environment.

• 5-7 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Production Support Engineer

• Strong AWS experience, including: o Deploying applications to AWS o ECS (Elastic Container Service) o RDS databases o Multi region AWS deployments

• Experience supporting transaction processing systems

• Background in high-availability, regulated environments

• Ability to participate in system design discussions, follow architectural conversations, and challenge designs when appropriate

• Hands-on production support experience

• Confident communicator comfortable presenting and engaging in weekly design meetings

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Previous BOA experience
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification
• Healthcare payments or claims systems experience
• Experience working with onshore/offshore hybrid teams
• Prior experience deploying applications into a second AWS region
