Job description

The Buisness Analyst -Data Management, Analysis, Reporting & Development is responsible for leading the organization's enterprise data strategy, analytics framework, and reporting architecture, and AI development initiatives. This role oversees data governance, enterprise data lake utilization, advanced reporting, predictive analytics, and AI-driven software enhancements across ERP, dispatch, CRM, and related enterprise platforms.

Given the organization's ERP + dispatch + CRM integration complexity and the strategic importance of AI initiatives around margin optimization, dispatch optimization, demand forecasting, and operational analytics, this role serves as a critical bridge between technology, operations, and executive leadership.

This position will manage one direct report, a Senior Business Systems Analyst, with the potential for an additional direct report in 2027, an AI Product Manager. The team is responsible for mining structured and unstructured data from the enterprise data lake to deliver operational intelligence, financial insights, predictive modeling, and AI-enabled capabilities across enterprise systems.

Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and maintain enterprise data governance standards.
  • Define and oversee data architecture standards for the company's data lake.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all systems.
  • Oversee master data alignment across ERP, dispatch, CRM, and operational systems.
  • Partner with IT and Software/Projects leadership on integration initiatives.

Data Lake Management & Analytics

  • Lead the mining, modeling, and transformation of enterprise data.
  • Establish and maintain scalable data pipelines across systems.
  • Develop structured data models for operational and financial reporting.
  • Identify automation and advanced analytics opportunities.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Design and oversee enterprise reporting strategy.
  • Develop executive dashboards and KPI scorecards.
  • Standardize reporting definitions and enterprise metrics.
  • Enable self-service reporting capabilities where appropriate.

AI & Predictive Development (2027 Forward)

  • Lead AI product strategy in collaboration with the AI Product Manager.
  • Identify predictive use cases including demand forecasting, dispatch optimization, margin analysis, and credit risk assessment.
  • Develop and deploy AI models leveraging enterprise data assets.
  • Ensure measurable ROI from AI initiatives.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Manage and mentor direct reports.
  • Establish performance metrics and development plans.
  • Build scalable team structure aligned with enterprise growth.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or data engineering roles.
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with enterprise data lakes and ERP systems.
  • Experience developing or deploying AI/ML solutions preferred.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling expertise., * High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365: 4 years (Preferred)
  • IT management: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
